Information on processing of personal data

According to applicable data protection legislation, Amos Fonder is the controller of personal data. This means that we are responsible for the personal data that we collect and process. We have internal guidelines to ensure that personal data is handled responsibly, restrictively and in accordance with the law.

Why do we process your personal data?

We process personal data in order to provide our services, fulfil our obligations to you as a customer and comply with Swedish legislation.

  • Fulfilling our obligations towards you as a customer. For example, we need to maintain a register of your purchases and sales in our funds, we need your bank account number to make payments, and we need contact details to be able to reach you if there are any questions or uncertainties regarding an order.
  • Comply with Swedish legislation. Accounting rules, anti-money laundering legislation, tax laws, as well as the Swedish UCITS and AIFM Acts require us to collect and retain certain personal data.
  • Provide customer information. If you wish to receive our annual and semi-annual reports, newsletters or invitations to presentations, we need your email address.

Newsletter subscription

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. The processing is based on your consent (GDPR Article 6.1(a)). You may withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing via the link in any newsletter.

We use the following data processors to manage subscriptions:

  • Sanity stores email addresses and subscription status. Sanity Inc. is a US company and primary data processing takes place in the United States. The transfer is protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 2, controller to processor).
  • Resend used to send confirmation emails and newsletters. Resend Inc. is a US company and primary data processing takes place in the United States. The transfer is protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 2, controller to processor).

We retain your email address for as long as you remain an active subscriber. Upon unsubscription, your data is deleted within 30 days.
